Our Commitment to Energy Conservation

Attic Breeze is a leader in environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.  We believe it is important as a renewable energy focused company to do our part in conserving natural resources.  As we bring the world solar powered ventilation products designed to reduce energy consumption, we do so by taking bold steps in reducing our own consumption.  At Attic Breeze we believe a commitment to environmental responsibility is more than just words; it's about the actions we take and below are some of ours.

The Attic Breeze manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters, located in Central Texas, operates energy independent via our 23 kilowatt grid-tied photovoltaic power system.  Equipped with 135 solar panels installed on the roof of our warehouse building, the commercial grade PV system generates enough power to supply both our offices and manufacturing facility with electricity throughout the year.  Using 100% solar power to manufacture 100% solar powered products, it just doesn't get any greener!

 Attic Breeze uses LED lighting throughout our manufacturing facility and offices to reduce energy consumption and minimize waste heat.  Our LED warehouse lighting uses only 15% of the typical electricity draw of traditional commercial lighting and produces almost no waste heat.  While more expensive than traditional lighting, LED lights last three times longer, easily offsetting the higher price per bulb by avoided replacement and maintenance costs.

 Using our own Grande™ WM series model wall mount fans, Attic Breeze ventilates our entire warehouse and manufacturing facilities at absolutely zero energy cost.  Our solar powered wall mount fans work the hardest when they are needed the most, removing heat gain during the day and keeping our buildings cool.  The Grande™ WM series model wall mount fans offer an effective means of both reducing energy consumption and creating a more comfortable work place through proper ventilation.

 In addition to the above, our facilities are designed with many other energy saving features.  High-efficiency HVAC systems, on demand tankless water heaters, energy efficient windows with low-emission tinting, and excess building insulation are just a few examples of the many steps Attic Breeze has taken to minimize our energy consumption and carbon footprint.  Environmentally responsible manufacturing can be a reality and we encourage other manufacturers to follow our path of energy conservation.
